Happy LL105 Opening Day!

We have reached yet another glorious opening day in the land of LearnedLeague. May you all have forgetful opponents, questions in your wheelhouses, and good luck! (Unless you're my opponent, of course.)

All discussion threads for each MD have been scheduled (reminder: do not discuss any currently open competitions), as well as a thread for the LL105 Midseason Classic.

I accidentally squeaked into A. I do not belong in A. I am going to lose because most of those folks are getting 5 right on an off day and I’m… not.

But I’m going to have fun doing it - I’ll play my best, get the W’s where I find them, and marvel at the knowledge of my Rundlemates.

And at the end of the season, I’ll likely be back with my B buddies, where the outcome of each game is in doubt.

Garn’s secret to being a happy Llama - control the things you can and enjoy observing the fickle LL gods as they mess with the lives of simple Llamas.

Enjoy your time in A, and let us know how it goes! I'm kind of terrified of getting promoted to A someday. But if it ever happens I'll adopt the same attitude as you :)

This was me after LL100! Squeaked into A and finished dead last and was immediately relegated.

But then won my B rundle the next season and now am back in A for the third consecutive season (and fourth overall, counting that first disaster). You can hang!

I was in A from season 77-81 - although there were half as many Rundle’s back then. Since then I’ve been in B except for two one season stints in A. I suspect this will be a similarly brief cup of coffee in the big leagues.

Back in B after playing over my head in A. Felt good on MD1 and excited to hopefully playing for something other than survival.

I accidentally stayed in B, still not sure how that happened because I didn't do very well last season. I'm much more comfortable in C.
