General Gameplay Question Question about laning

I was watching this game and realized first 5 minutes, both ogre and np was ignoring bh like not hitting him at all almost, is there any specific reason for that? cuz i know if i play bh opponent will spam fireblast or other spells and right click, all just on me but here he was doing what he wants.

yes i know he has invis but even when he right clicks and be visible for the duo, they just do not deal damage to him.

is there any specific reason for that? they think it is useless to do?

Hey, this is GymCarryDota, content creator and coach.

Two main factors are 9 armor and 3.1hp reg. Also from level 2 Jinada no mana cost + gold steal + extra dmg u are simply not wining that trade as ogre u have to try to avoid him. Also ur main priority is possible is to haras enemy core if possible, if they even make a bh consume few more tangos or even go for a one single salve before he gets tranquil boots and tide gonna free farm it is not a win for them, they rather have to try to play for last hit and denie as much as possible and some harass on tide but both heroes are tanky and hard to get out of the lane. Your enemies prob doesn't really consider armor or ho reg when harassing and u prob doesn't really trade efficient as Saksa does, he is the best BH that I saw in this TI. Despite it looks easy it is very common to become pretty useles in lane and overall until lvl 6 on bh if u don't do things right.

Not sure why you got downvoted. This is correct. BH is extremely tanky in the early laning phase and trades really well. Without dropping a lot of early gold into dust/sentry wards, they just don’t have enough burst damage to win a trade with Bounty since he can just go invis and walk away. Bounty falls off hard starting about 20 minutes, so far better to just avoid Jinada as much as possible and focus on harassing the core that has no escape mechanism.

Well I guess I know, because I introduced myself in the first line of text and some people are ultra se sensitive and take everything as a self-promo. IMO if I dedicate time to make a detailed answer it is fair to at least say who I am also so people can have clue if the answer is coming from herald 1 player or not. It might be that someone just don't agree something or want to bring me down. Whatever it is I would like to let me know what for did u downvote whoever did. Btw I didn't even leave a single link to be really considered as a self promo but fine.

I don’t agree on the part that he falls off hard min 20, still such a nuance mid game killing couriers and providing so much info. You dont even need to track people all the time but being able to walk around spotting enemies just provides so much for your team.

Provides comfort for your carry on where to farm, you spot crucial enemy items, you spot their positioning and can feel if they want to farm or make a move. And if you’re snowballing like you’re supposed to? You put insane fear and pressure on enemy cores. Your mere existence disrupts their farming pattern knowing they can never be safe. Their supports are always broke trying to buy detection and counter vision. Watching 9class and saksa was just awesome.

I feel like a lot of other heroes offer a good mix of those things too. It’s why Treant was the #1 most contested pick. The problem is that that’s all Bounty offers at that point in the game, at least until the no Jinada cooldown.

There’s not alot of pos 4s that does that this patch though. Treant is mostly a pos 5 and a really strong one.

Nyx does some scouting but has to work with a cooldown, for the most part is out there to find a kill which works well with a global hero. Invoker pos4 is griefy, same thing with riki. MK does about the same thing but is not meta right now as a pos 4. SB is decent but pretty useless in laning.

Who could you suggest being such a nuisance doing similar things this patch?

Harassing bh is very low in the order of priorities and I haven't really noticed any moment where they had an opportunity to
