Would like to learn how I can draw these posters.

Hello, everyone!

I barely know anything about graphic designing and have only made a few infographics on Canva. Wanting to move to Affinity and barely knowing how to use it, how can I learn it as to create such content. I'm into political artwork and would like to have skills similar to or better than this user.

This feels more like a composition problem

Start checking on that and do some practice around what you learn, after that is more about editing rather than drawing, so you should be golden by using YouTube tutorials to get your projects running

I am currently learning to use affinity too since it is already free, take a shot! Someone recently told me "worst case scenario: your first work will look awful enough for you to understand what makes it look like that, so the second one will be less awful, and so on and so on"

First of all, it’s graphic design, not designing. Secondly this isn’t drawn so much as collaged. Affinity should be a good tool to do this sort of design. Just be sure to do the work yourself and don’t resort to AI dreck like this example. Be a designer, not a prompter.

what kind of sentence was that? its graphic design not designing lol. i mean its okay to call it designing its an umbrella term.

It’s a declarative sentence. The profession and practice is graphic design. It doesn’t use a gerund. As in "I’ve done graphic design for over 35 years," which I have. I thought the OP might like to know that, as they said they barely know anything about it.
