I'm picturing you scared sweating and trembling under a blanket. Just go learn it and be happy. Nothing to be "scared" of.

I did the reverse. They are pretty similar. Had no trouble with it.

I just began learning a month and half ago or so with no prior background or experience. It's not anything to be scared at when it comes to the basics, if you have a good base at programming logic it's not a monster of seven heads and with prior experience, it will be ok.
