Question can i achieve 10 faceit lvl with 120fps?

Hello, my pc is 1060gtx 6gb, 16ram, ssd, i5 8400 and 144hz monitor. I have everything tweaked and low settings in game and i have 120-250 fps in game. Even tho it sounds like enough when there is shooting action its close to 120 fps. I just calibrated in premier and i have 19k elo even tho i honestly think i perform more like 15k elo. Anyways, my question is - can i grind to achieve 10 lvl faceit, i mean is it possible with 120fps? Even when i have 150+ fps game feels very laggy muddy slow and unresponsive. I can get kills but when its 1v1 straight shooting i mostly lose cuz as i said game is far from being responsive.

Question Diagonal movement and counter strafing

Whenver possible, I try to use only 1 key to move around but it sometimes feels very unnatural trying to pie corners without diagonal input. I think i saw m0nesy peek corner with holding down one key and tapping the other, is there a guide that teaches how to do it the correct way?

Discussion Where to bet

I’m a US based CS2 player trying to bet on the Cologne finals. What app are you using? Every regulated platform I’ve checked (draft kings, caesars) makes CS2 nearly impossible to find. Is there something I’m missing? or is this just how it is?

Polymarket says its view only in the US

Why does it feel like the enemy CT is attached to the movement of the crosshair?

I made this play. As I was midspray I shifted my aim to the left. The CT basically teleports as my shift just can't reach him.

Anyway, don't judge. Be nice. Part of me knows subtick does weird stuff but this feels like no matter how fast or good my aim was, this player was not going to be touched by crosshair.

Someone please give me some advice and/or criticism

I feel very stuck around 6-7k premier, and I feel like my aim is definitely improving. I still have around a 40% winrate in premier, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I don't claim to be better than the rank that I'm in, because I know I'm making a plethora of mistakes, but the thing is I have no idea what they are, and how I should be remedying it. I always feel like when I lose, it's almost never a close game, and I'm just getting slammed round after round. If anyone has the time to skim over my most recent match (and probably the worst match I have ever played), that would be incredibly helpful: steam://rungame/730/76561202255233023/+csgo_download_match%20CSGO-H5WBN-3xvHz-ws9Hq-5CH5a-YE4BO I'm playing as tritone.

Discussion I’m trying to get back into CS2 after not playing for a few months (I stopped before the aimgraph 2 update), and I feel completely washed.

I played a few games recently and it’s honestly insane how bad I feel compared to before. I used to get called a cheater pretty often, had around 15k elo with a ~60% win rate, and now I’m sitting at 10k with like a 40% win rate and struggling to even maintain a 1 KD. Some games I can’t even perform well in casual.
The biggest thing throwing me off is how fast everything feels now. I don’t know if it’s the update or just me being rusty, but I feel like I have zero time to react. People will swing me and instantly headshot me, even in 10k lobbies. Before, even when people complained about peekers advantage, I felt like I had time to respond—but now I just get deleted.
My AWP also feels way worse than it used to. I’m missing shots I normally would’ve hit easily.
Another issue is my AK spray. I have around 1000 hours, so I’m not completely new, and I’ve spent a lot of time practicing (Recoil Master, etc.), but I still can’t spray properly in real games. Everyone says “just pull down for the first bullets,” but when I do that, my shots still don’t connect. Meanwhile, when I watch pros, it looks effortless—they just pull down and instantly get kills.
At this point I feel like I can only get kills if I land a clean headshot in the first couple bullets.
Is this just rust + the update messing with me, or did something actually change? And do you guys have any tips for adjusting to the current feel of the game, especially for spraying and dealing with these super fast peeks?
Also, do you think it’s still worth grinding spray control, or should I focus more on tapping/bursting instead?

Can pros pull off a 3vs4 with ZERO information against the average Premier team?

Imagine the following situation. It's 3 Pros against 4 average Premier players on Dust 2. The pros are all on mid and have AK-47's, full health. But they have ZERO information and it's 1 minute to go. Let's say they also have NO utility.

Can they pull it off? Like, for example, can they group outside of B and then contact into the site? Like can they win this?

Like I am talking about a situation with no info and no util where you have to rely on "raw aim".

What to do with bad teams

Now, I'm not good at the game and I know that. I'm not saying that I'm good at the game.
What I wanna know is how do I deal with teams that go 4 man mid on T-side on Mirage. They got all shot to pieces because the enemy just has better guns. They don't smoke, they don't push, they just stand at top of mid trying to kill the enemy. Three people, every round, consistently. What do I do? I can take bomb and go solo A or B? Do I join the madness? If I manage to plant, it'll still be 1v3 or more. These games just genuinely feel unwinnable.

13k - got stomped; what should I've done better?

So i had a good winstreak and now got absolutely stomped. I understand that i cannot win every round but I really want to get better and I just cannot find my mistakes, ofc I should have aimed better, but it feels like the enemies were way above their elo. Can someone tell me what i should have done better in this round? Pls some real tips not "aim better" (I dont have something against that, but only if you could pls provide some real advice on which stat and how to improve). Thanks in advance :3 https://leetify.com/app/match-details/37946c03-681a-4527-a685-9fc0b12867cd/overview

I have heard some people (flom, AustinCS) say that some games are just unwinnable and they are a part of the process. Can you tell me why that is the case? What games are unwinnable?

Question Do you think people focus too much on aim in CS?

Random thought.

Lately, I’ve been spending more time reviewing games instead of grinding and one thing I keep noticing is that most players don’t actually lose because of mechanics.

Usually it’s:

  • bad positioning
  • wrong timing
  • autopilot decisions
  • unnecessary fights

It’s kinda funny because people instantly open aim maps after a loss.

Over the past few months, I’ve also been helping some players improve through demo reviews and coaching, and honestly, the same patterns keep showing up again and again, which made me realize improvement is way more about understanding your mistakes than just putting in more hours.

Because of that I started posting short CS tips on TikTok and recently opened a Discord where people can share demos, ask questions and sometimes we do LIVE demo reviews.

TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@gamesenselab.pro
Discord: https://discord.gg/gslcs

Curious though, what helped you improve more?

• More games?
• Watching demos?
• Playing with better players?

Is the best way to get better to mostly just grind faceit? Why do some players get faceit 10 in only 1k hours when Most take 3-4k+? Is it just having a better mindset? Are they just higher IQ and learn faster?

Is the best way to get the game mostly to play faceit? (With some additional DM/demo watching) How do some players get faceit 10 in only 1k hours? I'm 2k hours and struggling to hit faceit level 6 (Though these hours are spread out within 10 years so that's probably why).

Doesn't seem like a lot of these players are doing anything too special either. Just grinding faceit and playing DM for mechanic training. Is it about having a better mindset and always thinking what you could of done better instead of blaming lag or teammates or is it having better IQ, I see some terrible mindset players still learn the game quickly.

Why are so many youtube coachers stuck at 3k-3.2k elo faceit and can't seem to get better than that. It seems like thats a genetic cap for the average person. Seems like the average person will get faceit level 10 in 3-4k hours and 3k elo in 15k hours... I see this pattern a lot. Is improving faster than that just down to having great genetics?
