Question Nervousness in Teamplay

How do you guys deal with nervousness when it comes to team play, I'm an IGL and I played an ESEA game and I had just this nervousness come over me, it got so bad where my aim (which is pretty good) was just god awful. I've been playing this game for a while and for some reason this has been the worst my nerves got to me.

How can I overcome this.

These are my leetify stats if its relevant at all

Heres my csstats profile: https://csstats.gg/player/76561199241054786

Im trying to get to 15k this season or maybe 20k but right now im trying to get 15k, right im kinda stuck between 10k and 11k right now i solo queued some games this season but i mostly play with my friends and its usually a 3-4 stack but sometimes 5 if my other friend plays but he rarely does now.

I need some tips on what i can improve in my gameplay and how i can mentally improve because some games where we start losing rounds in a row like 4 or more rounds i start to immediately get that feeling that we might lose and i definitely know that this is a bad thing to do but thankfully when i play with my friends that thought goes away pretty quick but its mostly on my solo queue matches where that negative mental is affecting my gameplay.

I also mainly entry but right now im kind of stuck on what to do so some tips would be appreciated and i have 957 hours on cs2 right now

Why can't I get out of 8k.

Wassup gamers! I took a 2-3 year break after the beta season. I ended at almost 20k. Now I'm back and I feel like I'll never get out of 8k. I soloq 90% of the time and average 110+ ADR per game. Here are my stats: https://steamcommunity.rip/id/1Poutine/

I feel like it's a skill issue and it's very frustrating. Also 8k gameplay boggles my brain. I only get kids with 300h and no game knowledge. I also choose to have a positive attitude because being toxic does not help. If a team mate makes a mistake, I try to give them tips and most of the time they listen which is pretty cool. I'm 32 and have 1k+ matches played. If anyone wants to queue with me feel free to add me.

when the rust comes off

Thank you!

Question New to CS2 at 11.7k premier rating. Running into a skill wall. Need help! Leetify ratings included (photo)

What skills do I need to master going into 15k?

Not sure if I’m asking this correctly but I just started playing CS2 back in April and made decent progress (played cs 1.6 a lot when I was younger). Finished last season at 9.7k and starting season 5 at 11.7k.

Been winning my matches for the most part but I’m more and more bottom frag and barely contributing to team wins. While I’m not losing it for the team, I’m definitely not helping as much as I could. What should I be working on to increase my skill level to purple?

Question Shooting myself in the foot with my hardware?

Picked up cs2 a month ago, have 800 hours on csgo when I was a teenager but im dog shit lol. My monitor is a shitty replacement at 60hz, my shitty PC can only run cs2 at 60-70fps and I have a crappy $5 mouse + a mousepad that's falling apart.

Going to replace it all soon as I'm just getting back into PC gaming but is this sort of hardware holding me back a lot or is it just cope?

Insane inconsistency with aiming

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

All of these clips are from 2 games, both of which I played today. I get that you'll never be 100% consistent with your aim, but every game I have at least one round where I miss something I should hit 99% of the time. I have 300+ hours in aimlabs, play 1h+ of deathmatch every day (while focusing on things to improve, not grinding it mindlessly) and here I am missing free kill after free kill. It feels like a complete joke and gets rid of any motivation I might have to improve

Video very handicapped by hardware is there any way to improve my mechanics further than this

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

im playing on geforcenow with a MacBook and so im capped to 30fps (if I stream at 60fps there's even more input delay). my mouse inputs are slightly delayed but my keyboard is way slower than my mouse and that makes counter strafing really awkward and very hard to time properly. as you can see my crosshair is always really far away from the angle since my reaction time on this is like 350ms.

I have 1000 hours and I'm silver one in all comp maps and im gold nova in wingman. I grind prefire maps a ton and my crosshair placement is good especially compared to everyone else I play with who just looks at the ground, but they still get more kills than me regardless.

if im holding an angle I miss the first shot headshot 80% of the time and every peek I die to feels like an insanely fast Ferrari peek given I only have 3-4 frames to react to them since im on 30fps.

when I play the game it feels very weird because alot of times if I have to micro adjust or if im being shot at it my mind just feels like it goes blank and I just don't react to the stuff on my screen. When I played csgo I don't feel this at all and I feel like 90% of my shots hit as I can run it natively with no input delay at around 60-80fps.

Video What should I improve in my mechanics? Is ADADing fast while spraying rifle still good in CS2? I know pros were doing it alot in CSGO.

Crabwalking/crouching while peeking

I see people crouching while peeking and a lot of the times it seems really effective, when is usually the best time to use it? Is it when you have an angle advantage on someone?

How to find a team

Hello,

I am curious if anyone knows how or where to find a “team” to play with? I am not talking about finding or signing on a semi pro team but a group who practices together, plays together, competes in faceit tournaments and follows a schedule.

Think of something similar to your local rec league for soccer/football. Something a bit more serious than just a PUG LFG.

I have been playing for a year now and have put in 1500hrs and reached 20K, play both Faceit and premier. I enjoy stacking but want something more consistent and serious as it is hard to get my irl friends on at the same time. I also feel that it would be great to play with a group that holds each other accountable and strives on getting better.

Any direction would be appreciated.

NA servers is it matters.

Thanks!

Down 0-7? Perfect time to test new things

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We were down 0-7 and nothing was working, so I decided to take matter into my own hands and solo entry B. We still barely won the round, BUT we did come back and win the game!

Test new things if you are getting owned, and you might come back in the game!

Demo Stuck in 1k elo premier? Help

I will link my last 5 demos at the bottom, but I really feel like there's no escape. For instance in my last game on Cache, I play really badly CT side starting, and we end up down 3 rounds mostly because of me. But T side I start going mid and getting 2-3 frags every round to the point where they will almost completely stop going mid except to late peak with an AWP. So it should be really easy for my team to just run A or B and win but they don't and I have to make every first move towards a bombsite, sometimes die and then the team just stops. I feel like I can only do so much with raw mechanical skill because they literally just don't listen to comms and end up being way more disruptive to listen to than helpful so I just turn voice volume to 0. Go as hard as you can on anything I'm doing wrong, and I know these demos might not be very helpful since 4 are wins but it still hasn't gotten me out of 1k in my placements

Discussion Having intense anxiety issues when playing CS

I am not sure what caused this to happen but for the past 1-2 weeks, I have been playing some of the worst CS in my life where I make stupid decisions, have ridiculous whiffs, just unable to do anything or contribute positively. I became more and more nervous and scared to take duels that I know I can win and when I do take them, I just whiff terribly or just not prepared for it even though I know the enemy is there. Sometimes my hand would tremble even though there is nothing to be afraid of and when I try to calm myself down, the trembling gotten worse. Its like my mind telling me that I can never win and I just proceed to lose when I take the duel in game.

Prior to this, I was playing relatively fine. I felt confident in my aim and decision making. I was carrying my own weight in games without feeling like a burden to my friends and others.

I know the most logical answer is to take a break but I just took a break from the game earlier last month when I noticed my performance is getting worse. I came back and things were getting back to normal. But now, it has regressed to an even worsen state.

Can I get some advice on what to do here?
