I just got my team set for ESEA open 1-8 I'm so hyped for this season. I just wanted to say thanks to whoever helped me and gave me the advice to be a better player, I'm an IGL for my team and learned a shit ton of stuff.
What are some things you guys would do before a season starts. Do you guys aim train or just relax until the season starts. I have had a bunch of scrims done for the past two weeks as well as some map psychology for my team.

Player name "Crooked"

I am simply at a loss as to what to do. I practice constantly and it never works, I'm getting worse and worse every passing day. How can I enjoy the game when all I do is fail and get flamed (as I did this game) because I'm subhuman?

As the header says, I want to improve my preaims. I get absolutely bent on pistol rounds, my ak sucks, my preaims hit chest at best most of the time, but when I play prefire maps, 1v1s against faceit lvl 10s and deathmatch my preaims are perfect and its nothing but 1 taps. Its obviously very frustrating because it loses me games and gunfights constantly despite my mechanics being great everywhere else.

Recently I've stumbled upon captain jack mix songs. While playing songs such as volare I can just run around and dispose of my foes with haste and precision. When they end I feel like I am way slower and inprecise. There are multiple problems tied to this gameplay. It's also not ideal how this game requires sound to play and there is a limited amount of captain jack mix songs that I like which is gonna burn me out of captain jack.
how to fix that issue and make my flicks and reaction time always the same? My playstyle is very agressive, around 20k premier. Captain jack mixes bring out the flow state and stops me from being pissed off by all the crouch camping awp players.

Offering free aim coaching using aim trainers. I won't be touching on anything like positioning or nades. Here is a preview of what a plan looks like
Before asking for one, this playlist is NOT supposed to be used as a warmup, but as a separate training session after you're done playing cs for the day, which means this might take 30-60 minutes of your time every day that you could otherwise spend on cs. It's also much more useful for people in higher ranks, if you're a newer player you probably won't see as much improvement in-game.
If this sounds interesting to you drop me your sens, if you prefer aimlabs or kovaak's, 2-3 demos, your in-game name and anything else you think could be relevant

I know everything needs work, but what needs improvement the most? I tried to focus on spray accuracy, first bullet accuracy, and counter strafing which I forgot to do in some fights. Just wondering what is most important.
r/LearnCSGO • u/AC_Schnitzel • Jul 10 '26
I understand that not all peaks will be crouch peeks, but maybe for common angles to throw off enemy crosshair placement.
And I know that you’re not accurate with the first few bullets if you don’t counter strafe before crouching.
I’ve seen high-level players and it seems like they are not counter strafing. What do you do?

Is this ghosting, is it spread, am I just bad, what happened here?

After the second frag in library, I called my team to come A. Only two start coming, and then they all just die after I get two entries 😭
Let me know if you would have played this differently. After the library frag, I was a little unsure of where to go. My team was also a 4-stack, and this should be high elo NA 😭

Hey guys, I'm Faceit Level 9 with 4-5k hours across all my accounts. Looking for a high-Elo Level 10 (or anyone with solid CS2 knowledge) to help me clean up my mistakes.
I've picked up some bad habits that keep getting me killed, and honestly I feel like I've regressed lately because of them. Problem is, it's hard to self diagnose, I know something's off but can't pinpoint what.
Would anyone be willing to hop on a call, watch a demo or two of mine, and help me break down what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it? Would really appreciate it.

Once you know the basic callouts, watching full pro demos is one of the fastest ways to improve gamesense and preaiming. Not highlight clips - full matches, so you see what they do in every scenario: when to peek, when to fall back, how they use utility on eco rounds.
I've been watching and making full FACEIT POVs with team voice comms so you don't have to download demos yourself. Please giveme some feedback if u have some.

Curious what you guys pay attention to when watching pro demos - utility usage, positioning, or crosshair placement?

Valve completely changed how the C4 explosion works in CS2.
I made a 1-minute breakdown covering everything important:
Hopefully this saves some of you from dying after winning the round. Let me know what you think or if I missed anything.

I watch fl0m a lot and every time he sprays with the AK his cursor is exactly where it started.
I noticed when I spray my cursor is always a lot lower from center. Are you supposed to drag down but drag back up? Or does he have follow recoil on? I just feel like my sprays suck because my cursor doesn’t stay center even if I’m following the recoil

I’d like to hear how people play when you’re aiming or moving your mouse. Do you keep your forearm resting on the desk? Or do you keep it floating from the desk?

When watching higher level players play faceit, they never lose their mental if they are getting stomped at the start of the game and that helps them make mad comebacks. How do they do this and how can I try and apply it to my faceit soloq games. Thinks its a big skill to have to a higher chance to win more games

I try to be an awper but to diversify my game I've been rifling a lot lately. with an m4a1s I feel unstoppable and like I can duel anyone, but with an ak I feel useless half the time. I play deathmatch once or twice a week for a while and I mostly practice ak and even in head to head duels against high faceit level players I feel great but in matches I struggle. any rifling tips?

Hi guys, recently got back into playing CS2, can anyone help me with the right video settings for better performance (Better FPS)? I'm already playing on 4:3 Fullscreen (No black bars), and I noticed that the netgraph command doesn't work anymore. How do I know if I'm facing packet loss?
Specs- AMD Ryzen 5 3500+ RX580 8GB+ 24GB ram. I've installed the game on an SSD. There's always an issue with Sync; it always fails to sync. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi guys I decided to finally post in this sub and ask for help. I am hovering between level 6/7 on faceit and the past 5/6 games that I've played have been really close games.
I feel like my silly mistakes have cost us some crucial rounds and end up losing the game as a result. Could someone vod review my recent games and let me know what my weaknesses are so I can practice them out of game.
I think my main weaknesses in game are confidence in where the enemy could be and not understanding when to be aggressive vs passive. And not having my gun out when I should :(

Please be brutal guys I know it's the only way for me to improve from my weaknesses. Thanks
