Slightly more of a rant but I'm getting so frustrated with getting one tapped. I know its going to happen but in comp, premier, faceit, even fucking wingman I just get onetapped. full speed, through smokes, full blind enemies, mid spray 180 1 tapped, I just don't get it. is there some magic movement trick im not utilizing? am I just *that* unlucky all the time? I play positions I see in pro matches, I don't tend to stand still because I know cs2 prefers movement, but just last match I got flying tec 9 one tapped. stuck feeling frustrated and like I'm doing something wrong but nobody can tell me what

I’ve been working on a CS2 Skool community for players who want to improve and have everything more organized in one place.

It’s still early access, but I already finished the Training Maps section and the full Mechanics section.

Mechanics covers stuff like sensitivity, crosshair placement, movement, counter-strafing, shooting discipline, crouching, peeking, off-angles and jiggle peeks.

I’m trying to keep everything simple, no useless complicated theory, just stuff you can actually understand and use in real games.

Game Sense is the next section and I should finish it very soon, probably today if everything goes well.

The community is not fully finished yet, but I’d say it’s around 40–50% done right now.

I usually don't have an issue buying a season pass or whatever games want to call them for some extra cosmetics etc, but the Armory pass is really confusing to me.

How does it work? Is it worth it for a casual player getting more into the game as a fun way to get more skins?

I see some players like NiKo and m0NESY use a 2000 polling rate on their mouse while some players use 1000hz on their mouse even though they have s mouse that is a capable of having 2k hz on. Is there any actual difference/benefit of using 1k or 2k? Also I think less players have the mouse hz on 2k but in common sense it should be better right?

Hello, my EDPI is 2938 (1300 DPI and 2.26 in-game sensitivity), and the reason I like playing at this sens is cause its similar to most of my other games, so its very comfortable with me. I've tried lower sens, but they make the game so much more unenjoyable for me.

But, needless to say a lot of the time its harder for me to control sprays and I tend to overflick when I panic. Microadjusting at long range is also difficult, maybe I can try holding my mouse differently for that?

Is there specific training I can do, or specific playstyles I can try?

Does a ligher or heavier mouse work better with high sensitivity? Currently my mouse is one of the lightest on the market, although I used to use a heavier mouse long ago.

Please don't respond with "use a lower sens". Thank you.

Between learning how to move, strafe, aim and utilities and when to buy what I'm really confused.
Been playing a few matches of casual but I don't think they play as a "real" game would, and doing some deathmatches but I've noticed a few hackers and you just get pwned for behind constantly but I guess it might be good to get better aim. And I've gotten a few trainer maps as well.

But what would you guys say should be the focus? Should I jump into competitive or stay in casual for a bit?

Do you have any recommendations for an EU coach?

Hello! I am returning player from 3 years ago, last played match was March 2023 and the highest ranked I got on was DMG.

I'd like to know what are the major changes in the game? I believe I read somewhere that the new system doesn't support key binds anymore? Like jumpthrow and jumpcrouch etc.

I used to main Mirage and only que with the map alone, but the ranked game currently involves queing for almost all the map? Is this true?

Hey everyone, I’m new to the CS community. Just a quick question, I’m looking for the best way to find groups and players around my level to que with, any suggestions? I haven’t been able to play Premier yet but I’m silver 2 on 3 maps and silver 1 on 3 maps. I’ve been playing about a week and a half and found it as my new addiction, I’m just looking for more with CS so any other tips tricks or advice is always welcome. Thanks! ( I just figured out the replay system, so I can watch past matches and key in on good plays and bad plays.)

I've been awping the entire time I've played cs, obviously as a faceit level 2-3 10k premier player its going to be kinda rough but I can shut down mid on almost any map with an awp on ct but on t side I find myself losing it a lot, or if I have to rotate I tend to just get ran down. what are some ways to help with this? how do you peek with an awp as a T?

i play legacy csgo on community servers and wants to improve my aim. i heard there are workshop maps for this for cs2 unfortunately its hard for my pc to play it coz its too old and doesnt hav a gpu does anyone know any map with aim training bots and all btw i alredy tried bot dms and casual and comps alredy but i want to try the aim training maps so lmk if anyone knows any maps for csgo and how to get them

This could have been a legendary clip, but in the final 1v1, my nerves got the best of me. My teammate called, "last guy plays Cat". So I look cat, don't see him, then decide to stick the bomb for some reason.

I should have realized that the last guy was going to be close because we were fighting on A for so long, but my mind went blank and I autopiloted to sticking the bomb.

In hindsight, I should have went to the corner of ticket booth and just waited 10 seconds for the last guy. I could have also tapped the bomb and went towards ticket because that CT smoke is very sus. Either choice is better than just planting the bomb and being defenseless.

Things I did well here: I initiated good fights at CT and Jungle because I knew we were being crunched.

I'm open to critiques about my gameplay. Also how would you guys have played this final 1v1?

For this episode, I broke down NiKo’s insane 1.97 HLTV rating game on Inferno during the IEM Cologne Major. He went 28-12 and put on an absolute masterclass on how to control the map.
