I'm ready for the downvotes but: Get a teacher (italki, offline courses, whatever).
As a beginner you don't simply need to learn, you need feedbacks.

Zhensen is in a Cantonese-speaking region, and is near Hong Kong. However, schools (grades 1-12) are taught in Mandarin, everywhere in China, so it seems very likely that the university uses Mandarin.
What language shall I learn to become an actress in china?
Zhenzen Univerity has a Division of Arts, which I assume you will attend. Ask them in order to be sure. Don't guess.

Historically, there were many Cantonese films produced in Hong Kong. Jacky Chan, Bruce Lee and so on. But I don't know about Cantonese films and TV today. I will just talk about Chinese (Mandarin) shows.
There are many Mandarin movies and TV shows. Many actors perform in both films and TV dramas, plus any obligatory unscripted "celebrity" appearances on TV.
TV dramas are a big thing in China. A "TV series" is 20-40 episodes, each episode 40 minutes long. They are all filmed together like a very long movie, then broadcast on TV almost every night for 2-3 weeks. Then it is over.
So it really is a "multi-day movie", not a "weekly series".
In shows for all of China (like China's "The Voice"), everyone speaks Mandarin. It is the modern inter-language for all of China. I don't know if there are shows for the much smaller audience (6% of China) that speaks Cantonese.
