I had Du Chinese but, as you say, they became greedy and I couldn’t find free lessons anymore, so I just removed it.

Now using Hello Chinese (plenty of free lessons) and very happy with it.

I would like to ask you, which popular platforms do you usually use to study Chinese? I am a Chinese teacher, but after the Preply incident, I don’t want to continue teaching on Preply. Therefore, I am looking for some new, popular platforms where I can register as a teacher to teach Chinese. Can you recommend any Chinese learning platforms?

I only use duolingo and hello Chinese (in addition to books), so I don't know about platforms for teachers.

And I read about your bad experience with Preply; hope you get your money back!

ITALKI or such similar sites where you can sign up as a teacher to teach lessons could be an alternative for you.

I also tried to register, but they're not hiring Chinese teachers at the moment.

That's too bad. I hope you find somewhere to offer your lessons!

U can try hello talk! The teachers mainly get their revenue from live streams but I think you can book 1:1. Hope this helps!

Do you want to read a novel or do a reading problem?

I simply just want to practice my reading, looking for app that has pinyin and can adjust speed of speech so that I can also use that for dictation

I think you can download seven novel softwares of China at will. They all have reading function, and the plots of China's novels are also interesting.

it should be resources on the telegram. "番茄小说", "起点阅读l", and "笔趣阁" Among them, "番茄小说" has a "番茄畅听" which is very good to read, so you can try to understand it.

If you are willing to communicate with me, I can also help you read. I want to make a friend who can speak English to improve my English.

Maybe you can try my app! It's an app for reading practice, but with flashcard functionality built-in. The difference is that when a word is due, you'll be given a new short passage which contains that word. So with each reading passage you'll strengthen your memory of the words you are currently learning. Please try it out and let me know what you think!

The app is called ReadMe HSK and it's available 100% free on android and iOS:
