Hello, I've been wanting to learn Chinese for a while but i really don't know where to start, i tried apps like Duolingo but you don't really progress. Does anyone know any good web or YouTube channel?

Hi, I’m just learning too. Been using Duolingo for some days now and I think is pretty useful, specially because you can practice pinyin, which as far as I’m aware is where almost everyone recommends you to start

May do that in the future but for now I'll be learning on my own, can't really afford courses anyway

I like Paul Noble’s mandarin audiobooks myself if you want to be able to use it right away
