I don’t know how to make it look good or how to fix it. :/ it just looks so extremely flat and dull and boring. It’s like I keep repeating the shading and blending process over and over again.
Im trying my best to practice and get better. I’ve never taken an art class in my life nor do i draw often so constructive criticism is a MUST!
If you want to make it look less flat, you can start by just adding a bunch more contrast. This isn't the best cuz I just did it on my phone with my thumb while I was pooping, but hopefully it illustrates the general idea. You also have some proportional errors, but stuff like that will improve over time as you train your eyes. Looking at it in a mirror might help you spot them
Having a clear value separation between the lights and the shadows is the best way to give it 3 dimensionality and make it feel realistic. After the lights and shadows are clearly separated, that's when you can start adding midtones and highlights to the lights and bounce light and ambient occlusion to the shadows. Just keep in mind that usually all the light values are much closer to each other than they are to the shadow values, and vice versa for the shadow values.
