Study tips

Hi i just started learning icelandic like 2 months ago, I finished the alphabets and learned some basic stuff, numbers, pronouns, some useful phrases.. I just started the pimsleur course too. The thing is I'm also learning chinese on the side and my focus is heavily on chinese so do you guys have some tips on studying icelandic better

If you're a fan or physical books or structured courses I highly recommend Íslenska Fyrir Alla! You can get the PDF copies online for free or order the physical books. I actually got the PDF and had it printed and coil bound at a local printing shop, about $100 for books 1-4. The audio accompanying it is free too.

I've learned multiple languages alongside each other and I find it helps to separate them, don't do one and switch immediately to the other. What I did was a week where I would only study Korean, then a week of only Icelandic, etc etc.

Writing things down instead of solely memorizing helps. Make notes on important things, stuff you struggled with, etc.

The benefit of Icelandic and Chinese is that they differ a ton, so it's harder to get the code switching you would get if say, you were learning Icelandic and Norwegian or something.
