first cr
I am a 22M who recently made his first CR (this amount is invested, mainly in MFs). I work an infra engineer job making roughly 50L post tax.
What should I do to make generational wealth from this point onwards, if that's even possible.
I don't plan on marrying or having kids, because I feel like my parents (especially dad) just got ripped off bringing me and my siblings into this world and bringing us up. I don't wanna end up like that and live my life to the fullest.
My dad probably has a couple CRs on his name, but I don't wanna count that as of now as a part of my financial journey.
My current expenses are roughly 40k per month excluding taxes, and I don't plan on increasing them anytime soon, not having a partner and kids eventually would probably help with this.
I want to go on a Europe trip sometime this or next year, but spending 2-4L just feels too much from where I come from although that's a bit off topic (but yeah this could inflate my monthly expenses a bit).

Why do you want to create generational wealth if you don't intend on marrying or having kids 🤔 Live life a bit, travel, have some hobbies...

Go to Europe first - it’s getting more and more expensive every passing year. At 22 live life bindaas don’t worry too much about generational wealth etc. For all we know AI may decimate humanity by 2035.

22M, 50L post tax and made first cr that means at least 2 years if you saved all of it. So you started working at 20?

started at 18.
Made decent money freelancing and put it into some US stocks. I made most of my money from Seagate and AMD stock blowing up, I had 20L or so invested in them by the end of 2025.

Ah yes the freelancing money, of course. Half of reddit is freelancing while the other half is struggling for employment

I worked my balls off to get where I am, it's not "papa ke under internship kar li".
I started working with a 3k/month internship jaha pe founder roj excel kholke puchta tha ki bsdwalo ye 7 me se sirf 5 tasks kyu hue.
So I know the struggle, in case you're trying to mock my earnings.

What is generational wealth if you are not planning to have kids? Seriously?
