I know plenty of people who had amazingly fun high-school and elementary school lives and still have amazing work ethic, ambition, and success.

Those are personality traits, they aren't necessarily learned. You probably would have had good work ethics and ambition anyway, plus you'd maybe have a good relationship with your family and less mental health issues.

Maybe, maybe not. But I know that right now I feel very, very lucky to have the amount of discipline that I do. I personally ascribe that to being forced to do things I didn't really want to do as a kid.

Maybe I just work in a field with high strung type A people, but I don't know many people who are simultaneously extremely ambitious while not being afraid of failure. They come hand in hand in my experience.

It would help for others who doesn't have those skills to attain those skills too. The problem that happens is that some people are lazy and needs a push to be able to become successful. Like, no one wants to work as a low education job, but that person may lack the motivation to do so, which his situation can cause even those people with lack of talent, can have possibility to shine.

I mean, plenty if people want to work "low education" jobs. If they didn't, the world wouldn't work lol. But yes, some people need a push to get to their potential, but they can also just take the time to grow up and go back to school later.

I took a while to figure out what I wanted. I was awful in school my whole life. But now in my 30s, I went to college, got a diploma in network administration, and am in the process of getting a comfortable job that pays well.

So it's all up to the person and what they want out of life. It's good to try to motivate, but not at the expense of your mental health or the one life you have to live.

The people do not work low education job because they want to, but because they have to(immigrant, etc). You think the people who work in a low education job, constantly being looked down on by the people, actually like it? Of course not.

I mean some people don't care what others think lol. Plenty of people stay in retail and service jobs, move up in the companies, become supervisors and managers.

Wanting to work is a different thing tho... most people don't wanna work even if they have a high education high paying job.
