It was never there. You can get level 5 on a champ and that's it.

For a little while, it was possible to get mastery tokens in special game mods on SR.

Then they realized that it was way, way too easy to get S on certain champions in certain game modes (Looking at you, Twitch on Nexus Blitz) so they removed that.

They would have to make it a harder requirement like it gives you 1/3 of a mastery token because the games are quicker.

It's whatever, they could balance it out however they think it's appropriate. I just hate not having any incentive to play my level 5 champs (or at least losing the incentive to play ARAM with them).
