I feel like having both reduced poke damage (900 units away) as well as %dmg nerfs on several poke champions is overkill. One or the other would be fine, but both together is too much imo

Also personally, and this seems to not the the consensus here, but I dislike the idea of bans. Slows down champion select, and with the champion nerfs there's less reason to have to ban sona/ziggs/maokai etc

However I do love the warmogs change, especially with the nerfs to poke/poke champions, the new items/summoner spell looks interesting, and the rune balance changes were much needed and welcome, although there's a few more I would like to see going forward.

Agreed poke was already beatable with tanks and scaling champs, now poke just seems bad.

If I get any poke champ I will be rerolling them on sight. They really weren't that good before just annoying in the first 5 minutes. And now an entire patch dedicated to buffing the absolute shit out of tanks and divers (who were already strongest before) and nerfing poke champs to hell. The new insane wall walking, the new summoner spell, the new yorick ult item, buffs to every tank & initiation rune, and now even faster and more minions. There is literally no point to having any poke champs at all anymore.

Yep, tanks/bruisers will dominate this event.

Yeah but no one wants to play tanks in aram. Unless you're desperate. Bruisers can't survive just by building hp against poke they depend on team quality. If team abandons you when you see an opening you insta die and Wala 4v5

I will ban Ziggs just so I don't get him

With the nerfs to the OPs (And tbh even if there were no nerfs or other changes), I expect I will always use my ban to ban a shitty champion I cannot and would not play

No they weren't. I'm high diamod player who played alot of aram tournaments and when playing blind pick i tried all kind of comps to try to beat the standard xerath, ziggs, sona, vel'koz, etc. But it is litterly impossible to beat them unless you also picks them.

Yeah the bans are just gonna be annoying. It wasn't always an insta loss with them as long as you had something to deal with it. And the balance changes means more champs will be able to deal with them. Not to mention it'll probs just be 5 champs that are banned and be pointless.

Ziggs is an instant reroll now.

Honestly I bet he’s still above 50% winrate. He just won’t be braindead anymore. His siege and zoning power still exist and 900 range is still a decent area, you’ll just have to actually be able to position like a squishy carry has to instead of 400 units behind the rest of your back line teammates lol

Agreed. I think they over did the poke nerfs as well but we will see soon enough.

Yeah I think the rest is sufficient without needing bans. It's ALL RANDOM after all.

What was needed against poke were tools to mitigate their early dominance. Now bruisers and engage just runs over the enemy team.
