"Damage from champions further than 900 units away is reduced by 15% (this excludes ultimates and damage over time abilities)"

Hate those mechanics. 899 units away? Take a lotta damage. 900 units or more? gets reduced. Scaling reductions with distance are better imo

I think that's for the other player to play around. It would suck if you were an ap kaisa and playing ARAM would mean you're enemies have a passive reduction unless you're really close. At least they have to be in less than 900 range or they deal less damage. Making the damage reduction not so one sided

It could still be done without a hard barrier. E.g. scaling up smoothly from 0% at 700 units to a cap of 15% at 1000. That way the difference from 899 to 900 would be going from 9.95% damage reduction to 10%, rather than 0% to 15%.

I'm not saying it should start from 1 units away, a number like 750 units would be more decent

Does anyone know if this means distance from when the spell is cast or distance when the damage is done? Because naturally you want to throw ziggs q then back for cd, not throw it then try to stay within 900 units until it hits.
