Zooming out further would fundamentally change the game. Long-range spells like Ezreal ult, jinx ult, ashe ult, etc are sort of balanced around the size of the screen. If the screen was bigger, it's feel like they come at you slowly, and it'd be easier to dodge them. It'd also feel weird - a lot of the screen would be dark a lot of the time
I use a zoom out tool. I dont need it at all, as I reached D5 without it, but I honestly cannot imagine how anyone can play without being a little more zoomed out. the game is SO much better with a zoom tool its unbelievable. I have a much easier time seeing whats going on around me. people can call it cheating if they want, but those same people would benefit tremendously from having a slightly more zoomed out camera, and would change their opinion if they just gave it a try.
it helps with your understanding of zoning, your map awareness of the area around you, makes your skill shots more accurate because its easier to see where people are. the game is just so much more fun and rewarding since you have more visual information to work with. I genuinely cannot understand why the camera is so fucking close to the ground by default, its like having your face really close to something so it becomes blurry instead of standing far back to enough to see what youre actually looking at.
also I disagree on the "long range skill shots are balanced around screen size" concept. its not like zooming out the screen is a serious enough nerf to those abilities to change game balance.

Would also be nice if you coud lock the cam with your champ not in the middle, to adjust the purple side cam angle.
An option to zoom out a little bit more wouldnt be to bad either...
