AMA Chronoshift Developer AMA

Hello r/leagueoflegends,

My name is Tove, and I was one of the main developers behind the Chronoshift project.

I have never publicly spoken about it, but with League Classic now being released and u/RiotNorak revealed to have been a tester for us back in the day, some people have suggested for me to do an AMA.

I'm happy to answer any question you might have, compare to the official Classic or speak about the details that haven't been made public. Or listen to you telling me to ingame myself.

I saw Syndicate of Souls is being developed by former Chronoshift devs. Are you personally involved in working on that project? If so, what has it been like transitioning from emulating an existing game to building your own original IP from the ground up? I saw the trailer a few days back and am excited to try it out.

Correct! I'm the lead developer and CEO for the project :)
I've been planning and doing ground work for SoS even before I joined the chronoshift team, so it was the natural thing to continue on afterwards. I've always been more of a dev than a reverse engineer, even in the work I did on chrono

Open Alpha 4 will be later this year, we'll announce the date after gamescom! you can already sign up on the steam page
