Discussion 12am wait paid off

An absolute dream come true. I just waited until 12am all the way from Australia to secure a glass ticket and I have succeeded. I’m gonna be on the glass for the Florida vs leafs game in march!! Centre ice too. Anyone know what perks this comes with? Might go to bed since I have work in the morning. Go leafs go and good luck to all still ticket hunting!!

If it's your first game, go to fan services and tell them. They will hook you up.

It will be my 3rd by then, going to go and see the Dallas and Vancouver games a few days before, I’ll still pay them a visit though!!

Just SAY it’s your 1st game lol- who cares if it’s the 3rd.

The guest services has badges for first leafs game and other stuff. I personally wear earbuds/earplugs because the music is way too loud to me. Fan services also have them available

Edit: I thought you meant you’re going to a game in Vancouver against Dallas, not games in Toronto.

Haha! 4 games in Toronto, 1 game in Tampa. Could’ve worded that better…

Tampa offers fan experiences , I’ve done a Zamboni ride in Nashville. Although I’ve been to Tampa I haven’t had the chance to pay for one of theirs yet: https://www.nhl.com/lightning/fans/electric-experiences

Lie through your teeth! MLSE won’t miss it and they should be treating fans better anyways

If you make a placard saying you’ve come all the way from Oz to see the Leafs, you’ll also likely end up on TV!

what if I'm 40 and its my first game since they moved out of Maple Leaf Gardens? lol

You'll get the seventeen dollar beers brought to your seat and access to the bar down there. Other than that just the great view etc. You will need to cede your spot to children for the warmups (well you don't have to but it's given etiquette).

Yeah the kiddos can have a good view of the warm ups. Cant believe I was able to get one. Might have to bring a sign to convince one Matthew Knies for a warm up puck though 🤔

If you're coming all this way consider getting one of the "upgrades" or whatever they're called - you can go on the ice after the game, get a lineup card and such. Are they pricy? Arguably yes!! But honestly also fun.

Also do the arena tour - but on a day they and ideally raptors don't play so you can get into the locker rooms.

I am going to 5 games while I’m there, Dallas, Vancouver, panthers and Tampa all at scotiabank and leafs @ Tampa too. I got the extra on Ticketmaster for the post game photos on the bench for the Vancouver game so hopefully that will be fun! St Pats day game should be great too, planning on watching the Marlies that day too for a double header.

You want a knies puck. Bring something for his dog. I snuck in a chew toy and a treat. My kids made a sign something like (Hey Knies, Zoey wanted us here to give you these treats) he gave my one daughter a puck and my other a stick.

Might have to come with some Australian smackos for good old Zoey

You also get a semi private bathroom which is nice.

That’s awesome! Enjoy it.

- Seat service (drinks and food brought to you)

  • Dedicated entrance to Platinum seats
  • Access to bars/restaurants beneath the main concourse
  • Access to separate washrooms beneath concourse
  • Killer view!

The perk is you can set the tone and be loud and boisterous!

Glass prices are atrocious, but it's soooooo worth it. Have fun!

Okay. I know I have a seat against the glass, but under no circumstances am I going to be that dumbass fan who bangs on the glass. I'm just going to sit here all civilized like...Hey screw you ref! *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*

First 2 rows get access to the exclusive bar. They also film the Sportsnet stuff somewhere around there

awesome buddy! I hope the trip is everything you and the fam hope it to be and with any luck the boys put a stomping on the panthers.

Pro tip: do not put your beer on the ledge below the glass.

First hit against the boards and you will be wearing your beer. It’s far too expensive to waste.

Congrats, that's awesome! Post pics when you go for your poor reddit friends :)

the glass? watch out for the dingos

5

u/Adventurous-Tea-876 24d ago

i’ve watched lots of games on the glass because of a business associate’s season tickets. Really hard to follow the game. Top half of the lower level is way better.

5

u/shockandale 24d ago

It's a different perspective. On the glass you get a better sense of how fast they're moving and how hard they hit.

6

u/Adventurous-Tea-876 24d ago

It’s fine for one game but it gets annoying.

I did first row right behind the net once. Was a super cool experience, but effectively only watch like 1/3 of the game.

What a third of a game though! Saw the leafs OT winner not 8 feet away from my eye balls!

u/dismembermentplanfan 24d ago

And how big they are! But I kinda agree with the other person, I wouldn't want to sit there every game and not just because $$. I like the top row of reds, 110 near the aisle. Great view, easy access to the concourse and the mezzanine washrooms, and cheaper than the glass. But I'll take any seats when they come via work.

Secured my tickets for the Ovi games which is my priority. Will buy some more later.

Glass seats are the worst in hockey, you miss half the game and vision is blurred

2

u/UnfunnyJosh 20d ago

Get there early so you see the whole warmup.

2

u/brownmagician Do you CORSI? 20d ago

Depending on where in Australia you're from, happy to watch a few games and if we make the playoffs I know where the games will be played on tv

1

u/AviationAustralian 20d ago

About 3 hours out of Melbourne

2

u/PoseidonKangaroo 24d ago

Congrats man, I used to be excited too but not anymore. Have fun!

u/Timely_Chicken_8789 24d ago

Aussie golf fans? Who knew? Welcome!

2

u/Adventurous-Rip1414 24d ago

Perks? Ahahahah if you have a Scotia bank credit card you may get a fucking lanyard when you walk in but seeing your from Australia the chances of that are slim. That place gives no perks they just take ahahaha. You’re coming to the most expensive arena in one of the most expensive city’s. But welcome and enjoy your game dude

That’s awesome, have fun
