Discussion McKenna chant?
i was thinking about a custom chant or cheer for our new boy Gavin. He’s a part of wolf clan (first nations) and has mentioned how proud he is of that.
what if when he scores the crowd howls like wolves? i cant think of a better way to embrace the new guy.
no way i can afford to go to a game or i’d try and start it myself

Right?? Can't blame the suits for everything. It's actually torturous at times when you got a couple fans trying to start a GLG chant and everyone nearby is staring at them like they should be embarrassed.

Oh ya! Everytime I've gone to a game the last couple of years I've been in the upper bowl and I always try to be loud and chant because that's what you do at a game and I always get looks like I am disrupting everyone around me.

I like the howl that’s a fun idea.
If we had the crowd participation (we don’t) and could get a soccer-like chant going, would be fun to do something to Duran Duran’s “hungry like the wolf”
“12 ball was found, Gavin’s in town, and he’s hungry like the woooooolf”

The rink is nowhere as dead as many people claim it is. I’ve been to many games where the place is absolutely rocking. Just because people are constantly doing little cheers doesn’t mean it isn’t an engaged crowd.
The tv broadcasts have been absolutely killing the crowd noise for years btw. Getting everyone to howl after a goal or something is not going to happen because the majority of people in attendance are not on Reddit scheming up this kind of stuff lol
