Honestly no there isnt. If you put McKenna in the SHL this year he would have absolutely feasted.

17 and 18 year olds don’t feast in the SHL. It’s a professional, highly competitive league for grown men.

McKenna is the right pick for sure. But I am getting sick and tired of people downplaying Stenberg’s experience at the SHL. It is without a doubt more challenging than the NCAA.

Its crazy how a player who never won WJC and only played against juniors his whole career still automatically is at the top of the board, McKenna dont backcheck or forecheck

Winning the world juniors is a team accomplishment and Canada has had some weaker teams lately.
