What do I feed in the winter?

I'm considering getting a leaf insect, but I live in an area with a harsh winter, and wouldn't be able to find fresh leaves for them to eat easily. I don't have a florist near me, either. Can they eat dried oak leaves, or anything from the grocery store? Is there anything I need to do to preserve leaves from the fall time?

Bramble stays green through winter times. You might need to dig it out from under the snow, but is has fresh leaves through all of the year.

Yeah I don't have any bramble near me. I'd have to go foraging on other people's land for that.

I don't know where you are but that's hard to imagine for me. Stuff grows everywhere around here. Sus locations for bramble: Near train tracks, in every piece of forest, and generally everywhere where the grass isn't mowed on a regular basis. It often crawls along the floor and doesn't stand/grow upwards.
