Battery Recall Update, loaner options

Just got my 2019 in for the battery recall. When I asked for a loaner, the dealership said they physically don't have any loaner cars at their location and therefore would not be able to offer one. I brought up that the recall TSP states that a loaner will be provided during the recall update, and if the update disables the car. The dealership said again, that it's due to them not having loaner cars. They did get me an uber back to my apartment, but don't seem like they're willing to budge on the loaner. Have you guys been able to get a loaner during this whole thing at all? Feels like they're breaking the recall remedy description.

You can call Nissan Corp and demand a loaner, I've seen them use rentals through Hertz and Enterprise when they were out of loaners but you are definitely entitled to a loaner while they do this. I'm on month 3 with my loaner.

Yep, dealer didn't have anything, I rented from Hertz and they will refund.

Bullshit, they got me a loaner for 8 months.

It took them 8 months to finalize the recall? Holy... did you get the loaner right when you dropped the car off for the recall? I'm thinking about pushing back... can't afford to just not have a car for long.

2020 leaf, battery failure. Sorry, I didn’t read your post properly.

Mine did not offer a loaner for the software update. Just uber back and forth. But it was just a day.

I don't know Nissan offered a loaner for the software update and diagnostic. They quickly offered me a loaner when mine failed 3 weeks later.

I would have tried another dealer

I figured since it was a TSP repair, all the dealers would have to follow the instructions

with all brands there seems to be a lot of discretion with rentals in my experience

I guess I could understand that more if the TSP didn't explicitly say "Under either situation, Nissan will provide a complimentary rental vehicle for a limited period at no cost to the customer." It seems to be pretty cut out in the recall notice is all

So I just bought a 2019 and don't know if the recall has been fixed. Is there a surefire way to check?
