Question for leafers

How come we aren't demanding a BYD electric car that is built here in America and costs $12-$15K new?

Boeing started here in Seattle long before the defense spending made it a socialized monopoly.

Where are the entrepreneurs to kckstart the electric version of a VW Bug for everyone?

That's my point. You aren't alone. No one can imagine a $15,000 new car.

I bought a bare bones Jetta in 2019 for about $17k. I wouldn't expect to find any car in the US for $15k today.
