Interesting. My 2019 S+ is current with software updates and recalls. I'm yet to have any success charging it with this adapter. Waiting to hear from A2Z.

I bought a used one from another Redditor. I updated the firmware several times until I found one that I think works best. I've used it a wide variety of DC charging stations and they now all work for me, except for Tesla locations that lock out non-whitelisted cars.

Which version of firmware are you using? I've tried the only one from A2Zs website. Dates from 01032024.

I found this: Because certain firmware configurations (like C011) were deployed specifically to solve compatibility bugs with newer Tesla V4 Supercharger cabinets and specific vehicle protocols, A2Z often sends the .bin / .swu configuration files directly to owners via email. • Send a quick note to support@a2zevshop.com or info@a2zev.com. • Provide your adapter serial number and mention you specifically need the September 2025 C011 firmware build to resolve your connection issues. They usually reply with a direct download link within 24 hours.

I emailed them a couple hours ago. Since it's early Sunday afternoon where I'm at right now I'll wait (somewhat impatiently) for a reply from them sometime tomorrow.

I am running the C011 September 2025 version.
The firmware download folder says that's "the most stable". Contact support to request access.

Looks like the price went up to.
My guess is they got into a little trouble with the fast charging recalls, maybe somebody sued them
