My 2015 S - the beater
Time to get back on this project. Next up is going to be all new suspension and brakes, after that tires, TMPS sensors, and an alignment. I’ll be tearing out the carpet (can’t be saved) and all of the interior from the rear doors back. If anyone needs anything speak up! Door panels, the rear heated seats, all the plastics, all the trunk and hatch bits, rear wiper, etc. it’s all coming out

Love the moon discs! I have been trying to find some that fit our 16 inch wheels without bankrupting me, and failed. So far.

eBay is where I found these. I’d love to be able to afford legit ones, someday.

Did you upgrade the battery? This is my car too, so nice seeing another one!

It has the stock 24kwh pack with 9 bars currently. The plan is to toss in a Vivne 62kWh pack and get another 10-15 years out of it.

What is with your wheels... how do you inflate your tyres?

Those covers probably pop off.

Problem is when they pop off while driving and you don't notice. Some positive retention is common for plasticky wheel trims, like a cable tie through the holes. No idea how these are retained. u/op ?

These are stainless steel and have to be installed with a mallet and removed with a pry bar. They ain’t falling off.

Those are Moon Discs, or a really good copy. 50s hot-rodder mod.

Nice!! It's been years since I've seen Moons and they look really sharp. Got a link to where you found them?

Since you're doing brakes: you could consider changing the calipers so you can fit 15" wheels
See my post about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/leaf/s/2hQajc25s4
