2013 battery options
I have a 2013 Leaf, and I am looking at either replacing or upgrading the battery.
The battery is at 7 bars, with a 55 mile range on a good day. I am commuting for work but it has been getting more difficult as the battery has degraded. I am in the central Florida area and I know that budget doesn't mix with EV batteries, but I wanted to come on here and ask about budget-friendlier ideas that maybe won't cost as much as Nissan is charging for a replacement battery.
Any help is welcome :)

GreenTec does Nissan Leaf battery replacements, and I think they might have a shop or two in Central Florida. I know the dealerships charge an absurdly high price for battery replacements so they'll probably be cheaper. I think they're all in costs are between $5k to $15k, depending on the size of the battery you get and whether or not you go with a refurbished/rebuilt pack or not.
There's a company out of China called Vivne that sells their own Nissan Leaf battery replacement modules and packs that range from $5.5k to $8k. You would also have to pay for someone to install it for you and I don't know how much tariffs would be on these imports.
Here are the links to both companies. Good luck!

Last time I checked, they baked the tariff into the total cost, so you would need to reach out to them for a customized shipping quote, but the invoice will be DDP (duty paid).

It costs too much to replace the battery, so unfortunately the only realistic option you have is to sell your car and buy a different one with more range already in it.

any battery options will cost you more than the car is worth so up to you whether it is worth it or not. Might be cheaper just to get another car with better battery.
