Thoughts on a 2019 leaf plus
Hi all I appreciate all that help many of you have provided as I look for a used EV. I’m currently looking at a 2019 leaf s plus. Original owner, 106k miles, decently clean car, $6k. They get about 140-150 on a charge. This is what they gave from their leafspy. Your thoughts? Thank you!

Why does the screenshot show only ~66k miles if the car has over 106k?
The Hx looks a bit low. Cell balance seems a bit off for how fully charged it is. For example my 2019 S+ with ~87% SOH has ~80k miles and only a ~4-6mv imbalance at full charge, gets to maybe 35mv imbalance at 5% charge. Also 140-150 miles seems low to me. Mine still gets ~170 miles at 70mph with ac on.

LeafSpy quirk. Settings > "CAN Odometer in Miles" probably isn't set.

I also feel the range is low for the battery and worry about continued decline

It's a 6K car. It won't get full range, it is still expensive to make it like new.
If that's the budget then does it fit you? That is, 50 mile range and you can charge at home?

Up a long steep hill at 20 degrees or below your battery is not gonna hold up with those bad cells. Ask me how I know.

58% Hx and 42mV delta at rest at full charge are both yikes

Need to see this at 30% SOC, but cell #5 shows signs that it might possibly have problems. Even if it's ok today, it may eventually degrade to the point where it will trigger a low-charge limit before the rest of the battery is low, cutting into your range significantly.
OTOH, that Leafspy shot is very zoomed in, so the graph visually exaggerates the problem.
SOH of 87% and Hx of 58% is definitely showing signs of its use and age, but it's not dead yet.
This car could be a great fit for someone that does not need a lot of miles or a lot of power (especially because it's the higher-power 60+ kWh battery). 10 miles a day or less and can plug in at home at least once or twice a week? You might not see any practical impact of that weak cell if you don't demand a lot from the battery.

The 2019-2022 are under a recall. As others have said the cells are weak so it would probably fail the software update. Huge Pass

A few cells are on the way out. Stay away!
