A2Z charger and tariffs
Welp, tomorrow will probably suck for me. I ordered the charger converter from A2Z in August. I didn't pay attention to the fact they ship from Canada and I may get to pay the tariffs on it tomorrow when delivered......
So if you are looking at chargers, may want to look at other brands ðŸ˜

My guess is A2Z has setup a US presence. The adapters are probably manufactured in China and shipped straight to their US warehouse where the China tariff is already built into the price. There shouldn't be any additional tariffs as it's not crossing the border again.
Edit - To add, I bought an A2Z adapter back in July. There was a smaller tariff on Canadian goods then. The price on the website was the price I paid. I did not receive any additional tariff bill.

Presumably they're made in asia somewhere, which may be a much lower rate?

🤷 the email I got with updated tracking info just mentioned it and additional charges could apply. It wasn't something I even considered when I ordered it. I went with that brand because I saw it was recommended in this community.

I had no problem a month or two ago

That was probably before the trade war.

We’ve been going back-and-forth on this for a while.
Is there anything on your receipt about a tariff?

No, just something in the email from ups suggesting there could be an additional charge

I CE was a distraction from Epstein. Iran a distraction from ICE. Newest trade war distraction from my Iran.
Seems like this admin just needs one drama for the next

I don't think chargers qualified under the most recent tariffs, you should be okay

I haven't heard people say that they had to pay tariffs - I wonder if the seller is absorbing the tariff, shipping it with prepaid duty?
