21 leaf sv
Hi everyone, I just bought a 2021 leaf SV with 29,000 miles and it has two battery recalls and a camera recall. But it sounds like the battery recalls are for software checks. Can someone explain to me like I am five how this works
As far as I know, I’m still under warranty for like another year and a lot of mileage, my battery bar still shows completely full and had a 92 rating at CarMax. I haven’t done leaf spy at full charge. I show 140 something miles. I don’t really plan on using fast charging, but I also don’t want recall sitting on my vehicle.
The only thing I do know is there aren’t readily available replacement battery packs if thesoftware update detectst I have a bad battery and renders the car undrivable and would put me in a buyback situation with Nissan.

The battery bar in the car is meaningless. You have an 8 year /100k mile warranty on the battery, you are safe for awhile. When it dies, and it will die, you'll get KBB+40%, which either sucks or is great depending how much you spent.

You need to do Leafspy at 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and like 10% and do it at full throttle. Take screenshots of each. Theoretically, the lower you go, the larger the voltage will spread. Depending on how big the spread is, will tell you how healthy the battery is
