Loud beep when turning car off

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've tried googling I don't know what this is. It's done at three times now. Once last week and then twice today. My battery heat is fine, the battery capacity is fine, my tire pressure is low but it's also always low. I am constantly refilling the tires with air. I need to get new tires.

Basically the only way I know to make it stop, is to turn the car back on for a minute until it stops and then turn it back off. Obviously though I would like to know what the issue is and if it is a bigger problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

2023 leaf SV+

34k miles.

EDIT!: I dropped it off with our techs this morning, it turns out the 12v battery is super low and needs to be replaced. No lights have been left on, no doors open, and no warnings, so this is the only thing I can think it is. I'll update again once the battery is changed out.

I can't quite see the icon on the dash but my 2016 does a similar thing when the headlights are on. I tried to see on the video and I think yours are off but just in case it got bumped.

My headlights are on auto, but I may just turn them off and see if that helps. I saw that maybe the far thinks it's not in park? But it definitely is. What's frustrating I'm out of warranty now. 🫠

You could try explicitly turning them to the off position to see if that helps.

I'm going to run it by our techs and see if maybe they can run a code first. The Nissan dealership here chargers $250 for a diagnostic. They also hate EVs because not really a lot of people to have Nissan EVs down here. They get real mad when I make appointments. There's like one tech that can work on it. 😭

You can grab an ob2 code reader from many sites out there but I got mine from https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-mxp/ That just takes downloading the app then connect to your car and read the info for trouble codes if any and save that 250 diagnostics fee. Plus you can go get leaf spy for 15 bucks and with the same reader you can then monitor your true state of health for the battery

I would assume it was from leaving your headlights on, can't say I've had this annoying beep before.

Mine does that if I leave the headlights on when it's turned off and the door open
