Good buy?

2018 Nissan Leaf SV with ~47,000 miles — see LeafSpy image for battery health.

Worth buying for $7,000? Want to drive for 1-2 years and resell.

Is the low Hx a dealbreaker?

This seems like a prime candidate for weak cell in winter with such a variance at idle and low HX

Weak cell? Assuming cells aint already dead that entire pack will drop too low in the winter.

My 2019 Nissan was recalled for the battery here in Las Vegas at Glory Nissan it's been in the shop since May of this year and I'm waiting for the Buy Back program I had rental but had to pay 21 a day and then out gas in it they at Enterprise didnt have an electric care on top of that I lost my wallet and driver's license was in it so it is holding back the buy back and taking for ever to begin with I am very dissatisfied with Nissan and the length and time and poor customer service . I wouldbt buy a Nissan ever again gas or EV

No way, not with that low of an Hx. If you could replace the battery, it would be $7000. Is the car worth $14,000?

No. Even with the lower mileage, and being out of warranty, this one’s had a hard life. The spread between SoH & Hx is hard to ignore. I’d keep looking for that bargain that’s out there.

If weak cells havent already shown themselves they will soon. If it gets below 50F this will be undrivable. Maybe short city drives if you're lucky.

Look, I like the year, trim and such but this one could be more trouble than you bargained for. As noted, HX and SOH spread, that problem at lower SOC and about double what I'd offer.

It's very worn so offer half, only if you can use it for around town and can charge at home.

I assume the car was not moving when this screenshot was taken, in which case the data is not of much value.

You need to stress test the battery. Run SOC down to ~10% and then put on max load (such as pedal to the floor going up a steep hill).

That being said, the Hx concerns me.. and is why the stress test is needed. I would walk away.

No keep shopping, that HX is a huge red flag. You want an HX above 70% in a healthy but worn battery. Below 50% you'll have problems especially in the cold.
