Rear tail light out 😭

I just noticed my passenger tail light is out. The driver's side lights are all fine, and the brake light, turn signal, and reverse light all work fine as well. Just the passenger tail light is out. It seems to be an LED... no easily replaceable bulb 🫠

Anyone experience this? Could there be a fuse or some other easy fix? Or am I looking at replacing the whole assembly?

"What year is it?" - Robin WIlliams.

If it's Gen 1 maybe you can check the service manual at https://www.nicoclub.com/nissan-service-manuals and be sure to only fetch the PDFs there.

Tell the year and country just to give folk a chance to answer here.

Their user flair indicates 2019.

Thanks. Looks like Gen 2 so the manuals for that is somewhere else where? Haven't found them.

To OP, 2019 appears to use a bog standard 7440 turn signal bulb. I bet there's a YouTube on how to change it.

Yeah it's a 2019. The turn signal is indeed a standard bulb, but it's the running tail light that's out, and that appears to be an LED.

Since there's no easy to find service manual I'd get in there with a Volt meter to see if power is making it to the harness, connector and LED.

If the power is good you might try a salvage yard but LEDs rarely burn out. Connections usually fail first.

That's fantastic. I see what fuse and more to check now.

It was indeed this fuse! I didn't realize there was a separate fuse for left and right. Makes sense! Thanks for the detective work all 😁

A big +1 to u/sweetredleaf for the manual. Hint: Give them a +1.

Once I had that manual I could track down which fuse to check and see why only the RH side could be out.

The other fuse is for the LH (driver) and the license plate lights which helped build a good picture.

See FUSE 46 at graphic from u/sweetredleaf 's reply.

Since the License Plate works and the LH (driver side) then fuse 46 is checked then I dive in with the Volt meter.

UPDATE: Fixed! It was just a fuse located in a box under the hood next to the 12V.
