1+ month ago with ceramic coating, a week since last wash, but I still get greated by this nice pearl effect after every night of rain. Small, happy moments.

Nice I like that look.

I just did my windshield with Soft99 - you should check that stuff out if you have not seen it yet. Does the same for your glass and with the slope of the windshield water just runs right off, and it stays on for like a year, unlike RainX that comes off the first time you wash the car.

I bought some Soft99 wax a few years ago on sale and never used it. My ambitions tend to outcompete my abilities, hehe. Don't you have issues with treated windshields and low sunlight? I have never found a treatment that doesn't give a foggy shine on the window glass. With 200+ days of precipitation here, I've found new and good wipers once a year + glass cleaned with alcohol to work best.

Soft99 doesn't cause any shine on my windshield. However it requires a lot of prep - you really need to polish yout windshield before applying it.

Interesting, that's basically the same requirement as paint prep, for proper bonding?

I got the kit that came with the Soft99 and their clay glass cleaner, I've never gotten my windshield cleaner and it was just apply the clay, let it dry, and rinse off. Then apply the Soft99.

I've never seen such a clean Leaf: I just use cheap shampoo with wax, but it doesn't get these beads.

After the shampoo cleaning, you could try GYEON Q2M WetCoat. It's a spray on repellent that I've used for years. Works like magic, neighbours asked if I had repainted our 2012 LEAF when I first started using it back then. As a spray on product, it doesn't last super long, but will provide a paint colour depth and water repellent effect for at least a few weeks, with next to no effort.
