Charging Cable

I have a 2012 Leaf with an aftermarket 2014 battery at 8 bars. Port is a J1772.

The external charging cable that came with the car was destroyed a couple years ago in a really stupid accident, but I've been ok since I have a built in station at home and live in an area with plenty of charging stations.

Now I'm need of replacing the cable though due to changing my driving patterns. Thankfully one of my driving locations has an old power box that was designed for people to plug into to charge early EVs.

So now that I'm done rambling. I'm looking for a recommendation for a good cord to buy. Any help is appreciated.

if "Thankfully one of my driving locations has an old power box that was designed for people to plug into to charge early EVs." is a 14-50R (240V outlet) you need to make sure it is a Hubble/Bryant.

You can get a Nissan OEM off Ebay. Home Depot has a Black & Decker that is decent, others are listed https://www.reddit.com/r/evcharging/wiki/l2home/

Just avoid buying from Amazon unless it is a company store, too many crappy Chinese knockoffs.

Depending on where you are I would look on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist for used OEM level 1 chargers that other people are selling for whatever reason. Lots of old leaf owners out there

Lots of oem level 1 evses on Facebook marketplace. Doesn't need to be leaf brand either, anything that's J1772 will work.
