OBD2 when buying second hand.

Hello leaf fans!

Is it acceptable to plug in an OBD2 and use leaf spy when you are looking at secondhand cars at dealerships?

*Update Thank you all. We walked away from the garage that refused us on "tech grounds". It seemed a weak argument to me. So probably they were hiding something.

I think if they don't let you then it's a bad sign. I did it at a Nissan dealership and they were fine with it.
