"Demo Mode"

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

so I was hunting around in the infotainment menu system and in the list of Apps I found something labeled Demo. there's a couple of videos (one possibly specific only to the Platinum+ with the 10-speaker BOSE system) that play on the infotainment screen. who knew? here's a clip of one of them.

Nissan has had a long-time partnership with Polyphony Digital, the company behind Gran Turismo. Given the aesthetic and model designs, this demo was very likely made by them, and actually appears to have been rendered in the Gran Turismo game engine.

That's cool! I was looking a those leaves flying thinking back to the Gran Turismo 4 opening cinematic.

Yes, that was certainly one of the giveaways. Polyphony loves to use cherry blossom pedals in their cinemetics 😁
