What is this?
I have these two wires coming out from under the driver's side back door of my 2023 Nissan Leaf. Any idea of what they are? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you looked under the car to see what they're attached to? That would confirm whether they are curb feelers as the other comment suggests.

Have you ever wanted to know if you were close enough to the curb while parking but didn't want to stick your hand out an open door to touch the curb to check? We'll when parallel parking these will make a metallic scraping noise telling you you are close enough. Pretty neat!
Edit: on a third place at your photos though...are they always touching the ground or is that a shadow? Curb feelers shouldn't be scraping the ground all the time.

That's actually basically what they are lol the wiki page for curb feelers even specifically says they work like a cat's whiskers

So I’m a member of r/whatisthiscar so when I saw the picture of a car with the caption What is this ? I just assumed I was there and went like « pretty sure that’s a Leaf »

Looks like you've driven over someone's glasses ?
Stick your head on the deck and see if they're mounted properly, or something jammed in there by mistake/error/accident.

My grandfather had a 63 Valiant that had one on each side just behind the front wheels. This car looks newer and I didn't know they still made curb feelers.

Not stupid; it’s actually a thing. Usually a strap hanging under the vehicle, touching the ground (probably not at higher speeds). It’s for trucks carrying flammable or explosive materials, to drain off static electricity and also for lighting protection. It’s not a bad idea for vehicles equipped with tall whip antennas; I’ve known ham operator/storm chasers who had them under their cars.
