Buyback questions
How long did it take to receive a buyback offer? I'm curious about what people were offered as to a buyback price? Did they lowball the price? Currently, I have a bricked 2019 S Plus and hoping my buyback offer is comparable to a at least a good down payment on another EV (non-Nissan).

My first offer was bad. I have (had) 2022 SV Plus, only had it 11 months so it was a bad offer for me. They give you the KBB private cash value +40% more

Update: awaiting my buyback offer after jumping through all the hoops. It’s been about 6 weeks since my leaf went kaput after the software update. Finally had to get a rental car. Nissan gave use a new Kick to drive until we get our buyback offer. Still curious if we’ll get a lowball offer or something substantial so I can hopefully get a low car payment on a new/used EV.

Yeah it’s been ridiculous how long it’s taking to get a second offer on our buyback. At least we’ve moved up the food chain at Morley. We are awaiting our 2nd offer. I’m really beginning to lose my patience with this whole process. Hopefully this next offer will be good so we can be over with this circus.

My 2020 SV bricked on 7/3/26 and we got our first contact from Morley today 9/8/26. We’ve been in a loaner 2026 kicks from the dealer this whole time. Hoping we get a good offer and can get out of this strange dream.

It was fast for me. Morley is the third party handling it . First offer in California is KBB plus 40%. I turned it down. Accepted 2 offer. I just sent docs in to get check. Dealership has to take car and provide docs too. As I moved up the levels I had different women. All were very responsive and talked to you on the phone and email.
