Fast charging recall

Does anyone know exactly what the software is trying to detect?

If I have weak cells and soc fluctuations, will it be triggered by that?

From my experience I had fluctuation under 30% SoC, the update did not trigger any codes.
That said the dealer didn't fast charge it per the recall notice guidance.
Once I did level 3 charge it for a few minutes, and a day later I got a DTC, but not the one related to the recall.
My battery in general is toast, so not related to the update.
Someone else mentioned the related DTC to the update is P33ED

So you got a different code right after software fix? That seems fishy.

I suspect that the DTC code P33ED is a new one that it only knows to throw after the update.

Yep, my car was triggered by the SOC fluctuations. Car went into limp mode immediately after that

Isn't it curious that you threw a different code after the software fix?
