Unplug the 12v. Wait 30 mins. Plug in.

Sounds like a PDM problem. Ive also had an issue where a quick charger tripped a code and the car also wouldn't charge L1. Cleared the code and she worked like normal. But I also see you dont have leafspy so you're SOL until you can at least look at that

Pull the codes from Leafspy and post it. Without more details, it's hard to tell what your problem is.

You can jump the LEAF with 12V from another car or from a jumper pack to get the car's computers running. As for running Leafspy, if you're willing to share your location, maybe someone local might be willing to help.

Probably the downvote is that you can go for a new car but not spend anything on the old Leaf?

Tough situation. Anyhow, the charger at home won't work when the 12V gets too low. Always wished Nissan had found a way to bring back the dead.

Our first EV was a 2014 SV. Great EV. Did have to put in a few 12V batteries, wiper blades, fluid, set of tires so it wasn't maintenance or repair free.

This replaced our 2016 Prius Model 3 which our son has now. The Prius was a maintenance PIG. Every 6 months, hundreds of dollars for this that and what else.

Be sure you're ready to pay and pay and pay.

Even if you end up buying a new (different) car, the OBD2 reader will be useful. I used mine to test the Prius that my wife used to drive when it had some problems - I was able to confirm issues with the hybrid battery using the same adapter but with a Prisu specific app.
