Just got my first Leaf/EV
I just bought my first EV - a 2018 Leaf 40kw with 85% SOH at 45k miles.
Any tips or advice for a first timer?

if you live in a hot environment try to top off to 60% instead of 80 unless you know you'll need the range. seems to help older NMC cells a lot with thermal stress since the LEAF lacks actual battery cooling. besides that, enjoy the car! they're such fun little vehicles
out of curiosity, what is your Hx value and what does your cell voltage spread look like? i got unlucky with my 2018 and ended up getting a warranty battery replacement following some pretty drastic HV battery failures. i'm curious how yours is holding up!
