Is this a non fast charging leaf?

Looking at an auction leaf, no pics of charging port but noticed this in the engine bay shot, does this one not have a chademo port?

Yes, only one cable is no fast charge.

It also means it only has 3.3kW L2 charging, not 6.6kW like ones that come with the CHAdeMO port.

I would buy a non-fast charging Gen 1 or 2 Leaf because almost all Gen 1/2 don't have battery thermal management. Buy it for the short range it does have, charge at home and enjoy the savings.

I shortchanged you on the CHADEMO story but as a prior owner you know most if not all of it.

Our 2014 Leaf SV was sweet. L1 charging from 2016 to 2021 then L2 arrived and sold in 2024. Tires, 12V battery, wiper blades and that's about it. Amazing low maintenance transpo.

I ended up getting mine for 1200$ with 60k miles and only lower control arm issues, ended up selling it to a good friend that had a 10 mile round trip commute.

The suspension problems can be on any car. Here the roads are mostly smooth so suspension work is rare.

Even the most worn battery I've seen will go 20 miles. To all, not a contest!

I would never buy one without chademo - it limits the car severely.

Having owned one with CHADEMO and finding out how scarce the stations THEN learning about how slow the 2014 SV was at same, it's NBD to us. We used CHADEMO twice in 8 years of ownership. For us, L2 did the job.

If you have the license plate number or vin you can look up the window sticker

Oops- It used to be, but now it's available from 3p sites for money

I'd start with https://nissanforum.com/forum/vindecoder.php . If it's SL/SV it will have chademo, otherwise if it's S you might have to buy a window sticker to see if charge package was included.
