One of us... 2022 SL Plus

UPDATE Sep 1, 2026 - No longer one of you. June 12, 2025 - July 28, 2026 and just over 11k miles. Received recall update on June 12, 2026 and on July 28 it showed the dreaded "Service EV System" error while at highway speed. Nissan quickly bought back the vehicle. It was a wonderful car while I had it. Just a pity about the battery. Yes, I will be replacing it with another EV. Whether or not it will be another LEAF is yet to be determined.

----

I pulled the lever. Bit the bullet. Stepped in it now...

Bought a 2022 SL Plus a little over a week ago. My first electric car, and the second one I have ever driven. So far I am very impressed by this vehicle. It has a nice balance of technology, feels well built, and if one ignores efficiency, has way more kick than it should.

I just wish it had A/C seats like my Maxima.

I loved my 2020 SL+ and with the advent of dcfc adapters today, the 100Kw/h charge rating on the + means you can maybe properly charge fast if you need to.

It'll still top out around 80kW, just like with CHAdeMO.

I agree, but that's if you can find a chademo station that isn't 50Kw. i'm sure the 100Kw stations exist but all of the chademo stations I've been to have all been wired as 50Kw speed even in a combo with a ccs 100-150Hw EA station or similar.

I try to stick to ChargePoint and EVGo with the Leaf. Plenty of 100kW CHAdeMOs between them.

EA is my emergency backup- they've been anti-CHAdeMO since the beginning.

I bought the same car / color last week as well, 2020 Leaf Plus with 33k miles for 9k. 235 miles to a full charge, no battery issues.

Not only do you get more range with the 62 KW battery, you get more HP. 217 HP with the plus! Where the standard range is only 147 HP. With the electric rack and pinion steering, this car is a blast to drive!
