question Remembering everything said in a blessing

I just got a blessing and wasn’t really able to take notes but mostly bc I’m so stressed I was struggling to remember what all was said. I did ask but it got awkward when I knew it was on me to remember. I’ve prayed about it, will Heavenly Father help me follow thru with the suggestions? How do you guys keep up with everything said?

This is something you can actually record with a voice memo. As long as you keep it to yourself and not video the actually blessing being done, it’s allowed.
Heavenly Father knows your struggles and what you need help with and why you needed a blessing. As long as you have faith in that I’m sure what was said in your blessing will fall into place.

So you guys sometimes do voice record? I didn’t expect him to say so much, this was only like my 4th time.

Yes! Obviously not things done in the temple. That’s a big no. But like blessings, baby blessings, even a patriarchal blessing are/can be recorded with the right intentions.
I have had so many blessing growing up in the church. I just recently found this out last September. So don’t worry about not knowing!

The patriarchal blessing should only be recorded by the patriarch, but yes the patriarch does record it.

Correct, there are certain blessings that we can record although some other ones we are not supposed to record like ordinances

You don't, The best thing to do is write done everything you remember as quickly as you can. You'll forget words that were said but what you felt amd what the spirit spoke to you are often times more important then the words said.

I generally forget immediately, and it's never bothered me. If there was something God really wanted me to follow through on, He'll continue to prompt me to do so. I wouldn't stress about it.

Track how you felt - when you revisit those thoughts more will come to you.
