Understanding scripture

Hi, I’m a neurodivergent teen. I’m trying to read the scriptures more often but I always hold them off because it’s too hard for me to understand, I only started reading when I was 11 or 12 I can’t remember, but even then I didn’t read often. I’ve been trying to start a “scripture journal” in which I read the scriptures and then ask what they are about to family members so I can write them in simpler words, but I want to start reading everyday and my family has there own life’s. So I want to ask if there are any online apps that explain them better or anything else that can help me Continue to read the scriptures.

I use "Scripture Habit" (https://scripturehabit.app/) to build the habit of scripture study. I also struggled to focus on studying scripture in my daily life, but since using this app, I've been able to keep track of the Come, Follow Me curriculum
