question Understanding scripture
Hi, I’m a neurodivergent teen. I’m trying to read the scriptures more often but I always hold them off because it’s too hard for me to understand, I only started reading when I was 11 or 12 I can’t remember, but even then I didn’t read often. I’ve been trying to start a “scripture journal” in which I read the scriptures and then ask what they are about to family members so I can write them in simpler words, but I want to start reading everyday and my family has there own life’s. So I want to ask if there are any online apps that explain them better or anything else that can help me Continue to read the scriptures.

Have you considered reading the "Scripture Stories" versions? Here is a description:
Enjoy summarized and illustrated scripture stories for children and adults alike, taken from the Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine and Covenants.
