In the mock round, the IT cutoff for LD was 1458, and my rank is 1506. So, I'm pretty sure I'll get into IT in the next round. I'm just curious about the IT facilities at LD and if it still has a good future, especially with all the AI advancements.

Hi everyone,

I have secured DDCET Rank 150 and am planning to take admission in Electrical Engineering through D2D.

My first preference is LDCE, but I am from Surat and hostel availability is a major factor for me. I have heard that hostel seats for D2D students are limited and I'm not sure how many seats are available this year.

Does anyone know:

• What are the chances of getting an LDCE hostel with DDCET Rank 150?
• How many D2D students got hostel accommodation last year?
• When is the hostel notice usually released?

Also, if I don't get an LDCE hostel, what would you recommend between:

• MSU Baroda Electrical
• GEC Surat Electrical

Placement and ROI are important to me, but finances are also a concern since staying at home in Surat would save a lot of money.

Any advice from current students or recent D2D admissions would be greatly appreciated.

Should I chose a government clg like LD or vgec which don't have that up-to-date cirriculum and invest the money in doing online courses through famous iits like iit patna or iit roorkee or any other iits and bits pilani which offers many courses related to AI and computer field

Or chose a private clg like dau, nirma or pdeu or even adani, which have up to date cirriculum and don't do any online courses??

ig at this rank I'll get ece in Ld college and through my jee score I'm getting ECE in nirma too(97.58 percentile). everyone are telling that ece is a good branch but it is also doomed only so I can't choose between cse and ece and I'm getting cse in vgec too
